WORD ON THE STREET

Diane is super organized, reliable, approachable and willing to learn. In terms of her work, she is a designer who can come up with on spot, trend forward design, but is also able to shift and create whatever kind of look is needed from traditional to fun and elegant. Diane has a strong grasp of strategy and interprets strategies and trends into strong marketable product. She has strong technical skills, excellent knowledge of programs, and layout skills. Diane is a stylish, in tune designer who influences the team through her design work, great collaboration, and leadership.
— Katie T. (Sr. Designer)
Diane is known in our group for being reliable, dependable, and bringing a youthful energy to her work. She has a fresh perspective and she’s able to create products that appeal to a younger audience. She is always eager to please and her can-do attitude makes her easy to work with. She does not tend to get hung up on personal preferences, which can be hard to do when designing. But she has also demonstrated that she does have an opinion and seems to know when to share it, which helps in designing product for a diverse consumer base. As workloads shift and even our design process morphs and changes, Diane’s ability to consistently deliver quality designs with an easy-to-work-with attitude should be recognized and rewarded.
— Tim S. (Editorial Director)
Diane brings a new point-of-view to a classic product format with a fresh, edited aesthetic. Due to her previous work experience, Diane has clarity on how to assemble and present content. She’s influenced how we work in a few notable areas: 1) Creating digital panels for Costco pitch programs (created efficiency in assembling product panels and provided visual communication tools for our Merchant and Customer teams) and 2) Evaluated the ******** Tool capabilities, and then collaborated with a sub-team to create a user guide for designers. She presented the content with a peer which led to the successful adoption of the tool. Diane is articulate and presents her ideas well. She definitely has the ability to step into a leadership role.
— Rebecca R. (Art Director)
I was truly impressed with her work on the ** project as well as conversations we’ve been having via text, email and skype/teams on work she is doing. She is diligent in wanting to do the right thing and deliver the correct information downstream.
— Kristie S. (Product Integrity)
Diane has grown so much in her time at ********. 100% able to listen, learn, comprehend and complete. She goes above and beyond what you ask because she understands the bigger picture. She takes direction very well. Huge asset to the team and the company. Is engaged with the people, the business and the ******** mission.
